Animals feel the same way we feel. They also feel lonely, cold, hungry, and thirsty. And like humans, animals love to live with a loving family. Because we all want to living lovely.. This is a story about a shelter dog who was dreaming of such a loving family.
His name is Speck. Speck lived at the at the Bullock County Humane Society. He is very different from the other dog. Because he had a wonderful habit that no dog has. Because of this habit he was a very popular dog in the shelter. When he sees someone approaching him, he pushes his face between the metal bars. He then reaches out his paw to that person. That is to greet them. No one can pass his kennel without greet him. Miracle-Wilder, the shelter’s director, says, Speck will reach his little hand out and he just wants someone to hold his hand. How lovable it really is. Maybe he needed someone’s love more.
Speck lived in a small kennel in an Alabama shelter for a year and a half. Like every other dog, he waited until he adopted by a loving family. One day Wilder was cleaning the kennels, and she decided to film the puppy’s sweet hand-holding habit. Because she hoped to drum up some interest in Speck. So she posted the video on her Facebook page. Unexpectedly, the video quickly became popular. Millions watched the video As a result, Speck’s video caught the attention of Allie’s Hope For Paws Dog Rescue. This is an organization that finds amazing families for shelter dogs. So they decided to find a loving family for Speck. Speck was finally ready to be transport in hopes of meeting his eternally beloved family. But they are hopeful that Speck will inspire people to open their hearts to his friends.
